February 16, 2024 UMHB win gives Stawski win #300 Mary Hardin-Baylor run ruled Austin 12-2 in the 2024 season opener Friday night in Belton. The Cru improved to 1-0 on the season while the Roos fell to 0-1. Head Coach Mike Stawski also earned his 300th career win as a collegiate head coach.

June 8, 2019 Stawski moves to UMHB Mike Stawski coached Concordia-Chicago to the 2017 and 2018 Division III World Series, and will take over for Ben Shipp, who is retiring after 34 years at Mary Hardin-Baylor.
April 30, 2019 MHBU's Shipp to retire in 2020 After more than 34 years of service to Mary Hardin-Baylor, head coach Ben Shipp has announced he is retiring in early 2020. To ensure a smooth transition, Shipp will step down as head baseball coach effective May 3, 2019.
April 24, 2019 Belhaven hires Palmer Kyle Palmer has been named the head baseball coach at Belhaven University, school officials announced. He will replace Hill Denson who will retire at the end of the 2019 season.
